LemonAid is an independent, not-for-profit project dedicated to promoting the value of children learning how to "give back" by raising money to support organized efforts to eliminate poverty through educating children in developing countries. The ultimate aim of LemonAid is to be part of a global campaign to "heal this broken world" now divided by poverty, privilege and power.
LemonAid is currently supported by corporate contributions and volunteers who donate their time pro bono. It is independent of any other not-for-profit project or organization. While it is currently associated with MicroArts as the sole funder, the plan is to ultimately incorporate LemonAid as a non-profit organization or foundation.
LemonAid enters strategic partnerships to advance its purpose. Its work with partners is designed so that each maintains its own organizational integrity while joining to advance their respective goals. LemonAid therefore seeks partners that share its core values and that have stated purposes and goals that are aligned with those of LemonAid.
The design and production of resources developed by LemonAid to advance the goals of a partnering organization or non-profit are finalized at the discretion of LemonAid. The actual use of the resource to promote the partnering organization’s mission and goals is at the final discretion of that organization.
